Kuya Pong, Batch 88

There are 1001 reasons why I Love PVI…… One of them is the person whom I become after all those years of volunteering, second reason is I’m really blessed with a beautiful and wonderful wife who’s also a volunteer and the 3 great kids that we have, I guess there’s nothing else I can ask for, Masaya, Malungkot, Masarap, Mahirap, Malalim, Challenging, Intriguing and Hinahanap-hanap these are the best words to described PVI.

PVI is a great organization to be part of. For me, it is the epitome of service for others. We really have to make a stand that this voiceless segment of our society do exist and they are a part of the molding factors for tomorrows furture. Everybody is family here lest we forget the hypocrisies of modern-day criticisms. I am very proud to be a part of this group. I have a lot of friends that are part of this happy bunch active or inactive. Unfortunately, I am part of the somehow inactive command of the organization plan I still plan on having a come back becasue I love it there. It feels home when we are with the special children goofing around and learning at the same time. I have nothing else to say but good things only about this. It is not becasue I am part of it but because i know something real odd transformed from being ordinary to being realistic. I hope to see everybody again soon.

Hi guys…..welcome to PVI! I’ve been part of this group since 1994…it’s been a decade now. I love this group so much…this is my life….it shaped me to what I am today……I still remember my first time here…..i was so afraid and really cried the first night…i thought i couldn’t make it…but with the guidance and support of my fellow volunteers….i was able to finish my first camp and here i am …..still here and will always be. With PVI i feel so fulfilled…being able to reach out to our less fortunate brothers….its something money can’t buy….. and with PVI i found my true friends who helped me vercome all the challenges in this org. So if you want to do something worthwhile in your life….just add PVI in your friends’list and know more about us. See you around in the net…and be part of PVI..

If you want to put some meaning into your life, then this is the place to go, the organization to join. I.ve been here for ten years now and i joined ten different camps. I really enjoyed them all. Every camp is different and every camp left a big mark in my life. I’ve gone through a lot…from happiness, hardships, frustrations, triumphs, pains and success. And somehow i’ve grown so much in this org. With verything i’ve been through…I stayed…I remained…and I always will. So to all people who are searching for a more meaningful way of living your life..don’t hesitate to join us. You are always welcome. And for the founders, thanks for coming up with PVI..you just don’t know how many lives you have reached and touched…More power to all of you. And to the officers, Goodluck to all our future undertakings. Let’s move on together and face the more
challenging years to come.

PVI parang STARSTRUCK yan. We DREAM kse sa training, we’re dreaming… ano b meron ang kamp. We BELIEVE… pag nakapasok na tayo sa kamp, we believe kase it’s really true how sarap ang kamp. Base sa kwento ng mga “old volunteers”. And of course we SURVIVE…after the kamp, dahil sa sobra sarap ng experience. Hihiling p yan ng 10 days pa! KAYA SA MGA VOLUNTEERS KEEP ON DREAMING! BELIEVING! til we SURVIVE!

My First camp is at Cagayan De Oro 1999 tapos Labrador, Pangasinan, tapos Boac, Marinduque. Iba yung feeling ng camp. sobrang unexplainable mahirap pro mas more yung hapiness esp if u saw ur camper dance, singing & act to think that the are special kids. Miss ko n c eugene whaaaa. PVI brings so much memories n me. miss u all.

i heard about this org when I was in second year college. im very much interested to join but the schedule for training-seminar clashed to the schedule of ROTC… kaya, the following year, with no hesitation, I decided to join PVI. for three months, i attended the training which is required for the new members. ang galing ng mga tao ‘dun coz I gained a lot of information about special children. after the training, i prepared myself for a ten-days camp which is actually a venue for applying what someone else’s learned from the training. ang daming happenings dun sa camp.

By the way, I belong to group 1-africa, headed by ate leng and kuya anthony. ang saya ng grupo ko!… about the special child I took care of during the camp, it is a privilege for me to handle a problem child which is practically a problem of the group… i will never forget him because he taught me something exceptional in life which i will never disregard-that child had touched my very inner self that I consider that experience as one precious moment i will never replace for anything… and that’s the good thing about PVI… this group will let u experience to be in the world of special children who are often misunderstood-whose lives are limited to the four sides of their institution where they belong to… WE BELIEVE THAT SPECIAL CHILDREN ARE THOSE BEINGS WHO NEED SPECIAL ATTENTION AND CARE!… seldom do we take for granted about them, but they actually needs us… kaya, for those people who want
have a difference in life please join this group!!! I maybe inactive in the group at the moment but in my heart, i missed all the people (volunteers and special children) and of course their whole year round activity which is, of course, centered for the well being of
special children… PVI-im very proud to be a member of this group and… hmmm.. what else could i possibly say about this org… ah! PVI-love ko ‘to (very much!)…

  1. PVI, is part of my life, wherever I go and wherever I may go. It caught my attention way back 1999 wherein there will be a 10-day camp at Cagayan de Oro City with Children with Special Needs. From a junior volunteer to a volunteer with position, the true achievement is the non-stop service with the children, the volunteers and the organization itself. It’s happy to see people realizing the true meaning of life when they come to see PVI activities. I am proud to be a PVI Volunteer and I will forever be! Thanks to all the groups who have same advocacy as PVI. You are one of us!

  2. i am proud to be a PVI Volunteer..way back 1988 1989 1990…
